At Khaos Inc., your privacy is a priority, and we like to keep things simple and straight.
What we collect
Nothing. No accounts to mine, no tracking pixels, no selling your information. We don’t gather data about you or your projects to monetize it. Your creative work is yours, and we respect that.
Your projects, your control
Every project you build with our tools — like ScreenplayTool — stays in your control. We sandbox your projects so they stay isolated and accessible only to you. No one else, including us, gets access unless you choose to share it.
Third-party tools you connect
Some of our tools can connect to outside services that you choose — for example, a cloud AI provider. If you turn that on, the content you send flows to that provider under their privacy policy, not ours. That’s your call to make, and you can keep everything local if you’d rather. We never route your work somewhere you didn’t ask us to.
Why we do this
Our philosophy is simple: we make tools to empower creators, not to harvest data. We line up with the principles that guided old-school Apple — your work, ideas, and information are yours, and they stay that way.
No legal jargon
We don’t hide behind dense legal language. Our commitment is plain: your privacy is yours to keep. The rules for using our tools live in our Terms of Use.
